What is your cancellation policy?
Nipika Rocky Mountain Resort reserves the right to charge a $50.00 cancellation administration fee on ALL cancellations. Within the last two weeks prior to the arrival date all bookings are non-refundable.  More info...

How far are you from Calgary, Jasper, Radium, and Banff?
Calgary to Nipika: 259 km
Jasper to Nipika: 398 km

Is Nipika an eco lodge?
Yes. Nipika generates all its electricity via solar, micro-hydro, and wind power, and takes pride that its beautiful cabins and lodge are energy self-sufficient.  More info...

Is Nipika open year-round?
Yes. And there's plenty to do in summer, winter, and fall.

Are the cabin and lodge kitchens equipped for cooking?
Yes. Pots, pans, cooking utensils and cutlery are all provided. Dishes for 6 are supplied in smaller cabins and for 12 in larger cabins. There's a kettle in each kitchen.

Can you have a campfire?
There's a big fire pit in the middle of the meadow below the lodge and cabins, where all guests can gather. You are welcome to have a fire as long as forest fire conditions permit. There are also wood-burning stoves in many of our cabins.

Do you have bike and ski rentals?
Yes. Visit our online rental store.

Is your resort wheelchair accessible?
Nipika's Tegart cabin is wheelchair accessible, with beautiful views across the meadow.

Are dogs allowed at Nipika?
Yes, we are pet friendly and we have even built a ski trail specifically to take your dog on. there are some " common sense" rules regarding your pets and you are expected to pick-up after them. Cost is $15.00 per night, per pet.

Are your trails groomed in the winter?
Yes, we groom approximately 50 kilometres of ski trail, most of it for both classic and skate skiing.

What is supplied in the cabins? Do I need to bring towels or linens?
All of the cabins come with fully equipped kitchens, all linens, towels, toiletries, paper products, soaps, cleaning products, & gas BBQ's are here waiting for you. All you require is your own food, refreshments, clothing and recreational equipment.

Note: We are 100% off grid, so LEAVE YOUR HAIR DRYER AT HOME. At Nipika we generate all of our own energy by Solar, Micro-hydro, & wood, and as such we promote energy conservation, so turn lights off behind you, don't use energy unnecessarily, and leave your electronic gadgetry at home.

Where can I go shopping?
We are situated approximately a 30 minute drive to Radium Hot Springs and 40 min. from Invermere, where there are numerous shopping opportunities.

Is there a restaurant?
No, at this time we do not have a restaurant at Nipika. We do offer catering services to groups, and every cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room.
