30 May Wetlands Paddling/Birding Tour

Full-day guided wildlife viewing tours by kayak or canoe. Come and explore the world famous Columbia River. Improve your kayak or canoe skills, while learning from our naturalist/ guides. The trip will take you on an adventure through different channels of the river, over beaver dams and lunch stop on Eagle island. The Columbia Wetlands is a world renowned birding area. It is one of the major corridors for many migrating birds. If you are a birder at heart this is a trip not to miss!

Canoe, Paddle and life jacket included.
The day begins with a drive into Radium Hot Springs to drop off a vehicle at the end of the paddle. Then a Nipika truck will transport you to the mouth of the Columbia River Wetlands. The boats, life jackets, paddles will be there waiting for your arrival. After a short safety talk you will start your trip down the Wetlands.
Things you will need to bring: Lunch, water, binoculars, sunscreen, sun hat, camera and anything else you might like to have on the trip.
