Nipika Loppet

Join us for a classic, quality event! Stunning trails are a backdrop of our community-first event that warmly welcomes skiers of all ages and abilities.

30km – 30km skiathlon – 15km – 7.5km – 3km – 1.5km

  • Loppet distances: 30km, 30km skiathlon (individual and team), 15km, 7.5km, 3km, 1.5km

  • Exact times may vary depending on race routing.

  • 11:05am – 15km & skiathlon (15km classic, 15km skate)

  • 11:10am – 7.5 km

  • 11:15am – 3 km

  • 11:20am – 1.5 km

  • Courses

    The 15km course loops the north network with rolling terrain, a couple lung burners, and beautiful mountain and river views. The 30km and skiathlon events do two 15km loops. The 7.5km course incorporates some rollers and runs through the forest. The 3km loop stays close with a couple small hills, and the 1.5km loops the meadow and barn.

    The trails are part of the Cross River Canyon Recreation Site.
