Nipika Loppet

Join us for a classic, quality event! Stunning trails are a backdrop of our event that warmly welcomes skiers of all ages and abilities.

30km – 30km skiathlon – 15km – 7.5km – 3km – 1.5km

  • Loppet distances: 30km, 30km skiathlon (individual and team), 15km, 7.5km, 3km, 1.5km

  • New this year! Skiathlon: a combination of a 15km loop in classic technique, followed by a 15km loop in skate technique.  You can do it as individual or as a team of two (one to ski classic, one to ski skate).

  • Courses

    The 15km course loops the north network with rolling terrain, a couple lung burners, and beautiful mountain and river views. The 30km and skiathlon events do two 15km loops. The 7.5km course incorporates some rollers and runs through the forest. The 3km loop stays close with a couple small hills, and the 1.5km loops the meadow and barn.

    The trails are part of the Cross River Canyon Recreation Site.
