Welcome to Nipika Mountain Resort—a four-season adventure destination! We are a pet-friendly, eco resort in the Canadian Rockies, bordering Kootenay National Park and 30 minutes from Radium Hot Springs, BC.

You’ve come to the right place if you’re looking for adventurous activities, a relaxing retreat, or family fun! Unwind and find adventure in our spectacular setting.

Nestled in the Kootenay River Valley with a backdrop of the Canadian Rockies are nine classic log cabins that sleep 4-13 people. All cabins are thoughtfully decorated in classic rustic style and come fully equipped, to provide a serene and comfortable atmosphere. They all have covered front porches with majestic mountain views.

Adventure awaits with a massive trail network, the Cross River Canyon Recreation Site, right out the cabin doors. It is geared for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running with scenic vistas, waterfalls, and animal viewing.

Grab a map or talk to one of the hosts for advice on which trails to ride, run, or hike.

We offer guided hikes most days: along the trails near the resort for an interpretive hike or up into the alpine on lesser known trails.

An 18-hole disc golf course takes you through the forest for a fun challenge.

Spend a hot summer day at the inviting pond. On cooler days, enjoy a cold plunge before heading into the sauna for contrast therapy.

Nipika is also the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate: go for gentle walks in the woods, sit by a rushing river, listen to birds sing from the porch.
