25 May Canoe the Kootenay River
Paddle trips will not run this season. To prevent the spread of whirling disease, all waterbodies and shorelines in Kootenay National Park are closed until March 31, 2025.
Once they re-open, we will run our trips again! More information can be found on the Parks Canada website.
Trip overview
Spend a day on the Kootenay River, paddling through aquamarine water sighting birds and wildlife in the air and along the shorelines.
Our team of experienced guides will coach you along the way to develop and improve your skills on moving water, around winding bends, and over stretches of rapids.
The guides can share stories about the river and mountain area as we paddle surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Tours will stop for a rest at one of the countless remote beaches where you can explore the shoreline for animal prints and bravely dip in the glacier-fed water.
Cost
Adult $100.00 / Youth (under 12*) $75.00
*Children must be 6 years of age or older to participate.
