We would like to acknowledge that Nipika Mounatin Resort is within the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa and Secwepemc people. We are honoured and humbled to live, recreate, and work on the traditional land and waterways.
NIPIKA IS AN ECO-RESORT
Nipika operates in harmony with nature. We are completely off the grid, and source power from the sun and surrounding forest. All of Nipika’s electricity is generated with renewable, clean solar energy via a recently updated, state-of-the-art system. We salvage dead wood from the woodlot and burn it in a central boiler, which then provides hot water heating to the cabins and other buildings. Hot water is supplied using the same system.
It is Nipika’s goal for guests to enjoy Canada’s Rocky Mountains in non-consumptive ways: enjoy the natural setting using self-propelled activities.
NIPIKA IS A GATHERING PLACE FOR FAMILY
Nipika is the perfect place to come together and enjoy family time without the distractions of daily life. With limited wifi and no TV, you’ll find a better connection. We have endless activities in all seasons for all age ranges, wildlife, dark sky, lessons, and tours. If you want to make memories, book a stay here.

NIPIKA IS PET FRIENDLY
Nipika is proud to offer pet-friendly accommodations. With over 100km of trails and an open meadow, your furry friends will experience a vacation like no other!
Nipika has three furry companions who can be seen around the property most days. Pets are a part of the Nipika family, so bring everyone along when you visit!
Have a larger animal in mind? We have horse stables on site, and we offer Board n Bale holidays for horse owners looking for a spectacular place for a riding getaway.
When booking your accommodation, please let us know in advance if you’re bringing your best fur friend. And please keep pets off cabin furniture; bring their bed from home.
NIPIKA HOSTS YEAR-ROUND EVENTS
Nipika hosts races annually: the Crazy Soles Nipika Trail Run and the Nipika Panorama Loppet Weekend (featuring skate and classic races.) We offer a variety of distances for each race, so they can challenge everyone in your family.
The TransRockies Gravel Royale hosts their stage race at the resort.
Nipika hosts a few adventure camps throughout the year, with outdoor adventure at the heart of them.
